Checkmating With K+Q vs K

The point of this post is to show you how to mate with a king and queen. Here are the steps.

1. Use your queen to force your opponent's king to the edge of the board.

2. Move your king toward you opponent's king, being careful not to stalemate your opponent.

3. Give mate. I will now show you how.
